A man was arrested for a bank robbery attempt at Santee's Chase Bank after being identified by surveillance footage.

The San Diego County Sheriff announced Friday that one man has been arrested for robbing the Chase Bank in Santee.

Video surveillance was obtained and deputies from the Santee Sheriff's Station identified the suspect from prior contacts. He was subsequently booked into the San Diego Central Jail for robbery.
