LAWTON, MI – Lawton girls basketball coach Jeremy Macon has stepped away from the team, district officials confirmed on Friday. According to Lawton athletic director Chris Richter, Macon stepped away from his post earlier this week – a position he’s held since 2021. Richter confirmed that Macon’s decision to step away was for “personal reasons.”

Mike Tomlin is stepping down after 19 seasons as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Tuesday. The move comes less than 24 hours after Pittsburgh was eliminated from the playoffs in a 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans at Acrisure Stadium.
