Travelers aren't out the woods after a massive winter storm dumped snow and ice across the eastern United States over the weekend.

"An Arctic siege has taken over our state," says New York governor Kathy Hochul, adding: "It is brutal, it is bone-chilling and it is dangerous."

Most of the delayed flights at the time of publication were through Southwest Airlines, while most of the canceled flights were through American Airlines.
