A jury on Thursday ordered the city of Seattle to pay more than $30 million over the unsolved, fatal shooting of a teenager at the “ Capitol Hill Occupied Protest " zone, which arose in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd.
Organizers say the rally will gather on the sidewalk in front of Union Station at 1717 Pacific Ave, running from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday. According to The News Tribune, the protest is explicitly "in honor of Alex Pretti and Renée Good" and is intended as a show of solidarity with immigrant communities.
