The U.S. has launched another round of strikes against the Islamic State in Syria. This follows last month's ambush that killed two U.S. soldiers and an American civilian interpreter.

Syrian security forces have deployed in Aleppo after intense clashes with Kurdish fighters. The fighting, which began Tuesday, has killed at least 22 people and displaced over 140,000.
