The Xbox Full Screen Experience (or FSE) debuted late last year on the pricey Asus ROG Xbox Ally X, steadily trickling out to other Windows-based handheld gaming PCs and more traditional gaming desktops over the following months.

Another new Xbox feature detailed in the January update blog is a game-save-sync indicator that will let players know in real time whether or not game-save progress for a title has been synced between platforms.

Last night, it was reconfirmed that 007 First Light will be supporting Xbox Play Anywhere when it releases on May 27th, which means anyone who buys the Xbox Series X and S version will also get a free PC version on the Xbox PC app.

PCWorld observes that Xbox appears to be losing ground as gaming shifts toward PC-based living room experiences, with handheld PCs and cloud streaming leading this transformation.
