After Main Event Jey gave his speech, Sami Zayn came to the ring. He promised that it would be him waiting for the winner with the WWE title, not McIntyre. Paul Heyman and The Vision were out next, but they stayed on the staged for their promo. Nick Aldis came out and booked an eight-man tag match with everyone for later in the show.

WWE "SmackDown" will be live in Riyadh beginning at noon ET, but fans in the United States won't see the action until 8 p.m. ET. Friday's episode of "SmackDown" will emanate from the King Abdullah Financial District. The go-home episode one day before "Royal Rumble 2026" will feature a slew of notable names on the WWE roster.

McIntyre is feeling confident ahead of his first undisputed WWE title defense. It's for good reason: he's beaten Zayn in all 12 of their singles matches. Zayn is reformed after winning a fatal four-way contender's match on Saturday Night's Main Event. They face off once more before Saturday's title match.
