During Op SHADER, A Company 1 R IRISH teamed up with their US partners, TASKFORCE GUNSMOKE, for ‘Call for Fire’ training. From Rangers to Officers, they directed AH-64E Apache attack helicopters onto targets during day and night live-fire exercises. As part of Iraq’s Quick Reaction Force, TASKFORCE GUNSMOKE plays a critical role.
