Time for an update! it's two weeks after my emergency surgery for a detached retina and the road to recovery has been difficult mentally and physically, but I've also been pretty darn lucky. Everything is healing as it should, so my thanks to the eye surgeon at the Mater Hospital in Belfast and the teams at Altnagelvin and the RVH who also looked after me.
