The Upside (2017) is an American comedy-drama film directed by Neil Burger. It is a remake of the French hit Intouchables (2011), which itself was inspired by a true story. The film stars Bryan Cranston as Phillip Lacasse, a wealthy man who is quadriplegic after an accident, and Kevin Hart as Dell Scott, an unemployed ex-convict who becomes Phillip’s caregiver.
